The Standard Horizon GX1400 Eclipse Series is an ultra-compact fixed mount marine VHF radio designed to deliver dependable communication for recreational and commercial vessels. Available in GX1400GPS and GX1400 variants, the series combines 25W transmit power, Class D DSC functionality, Clear Voice Noise Reduction Technology, and IPX8 waterproof construction in a rugged die-cast chassis. The GX1400GPS model also features a built-in 66-channel GPS receiver for enhanced safety and Digital Selective Calling (DSC) capabilities.

• ITU-R M.493-13 Class D DSC with Dedicated CH70 Receiver: Meets ITU-R M.493-13 Class D DSC standards with a dedicated Channel 70 receiver that continuously monitors Digital Selective Calling alerts, even while communicating on another channel. DSC distress calls automatically transmit vessel information and position when GPS data is available.
